Cones & back flow cones
Standard cones can be used in incense burners. Back flow incense burners need a special cone. These are larger and have a hole that draws through the smoke, down into the hole on the burner. These cones are larger and oilier than standard cones, this is so that the smoke is heavier for the cascading effect. This smoke will leave an oily residue on whatever it touches, it is easily wiped off with a damp cloth but it is advisable to protect polished surfaces.
How to light a backflow cone: light and allow the flame to burn longer before blowing it out. Once the cone has burned down the tip, the smoke will start to travel down the hole inside the cone and that creates the backflow effect. There is a knack to it and you may need to relight the cone a couple of times.

Do not leave your incense burning unattended. Sticks can fall out of their holders and cause fires, the smouldering tip is akin to a cigarette end. Excess smoke will set off your fire alarm, so take care where you place them. Common sense not included.
Satya incense
Hand rolled incense sticks, heady aromas and great for spirit work. Satya are highly recommended.
